First, I want to say Christopher Nelson was great. Very professional and thorough. He walked my wife and I all over the house showing everything that we needed to see while given good explanations. A big thanks to Christopher Nelson for doing such a thorough and thoughtful inspection. I loved how when I got to the house I saw his shoes outside because it was a rainy and wet day. I’m buying a new build and there were several things he caught that a naked eye, or an inexperienced person like myself would not have known could potentially be an issue later down the line. The team at TIH was responsive, polite, and answered most of my questions. They were flexible and able to fit us in with little notice. The inspector who came out for us did a great job and was very thorough. The only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is because they did not follow through with the follow up call after they sent over the inspection report. As a first time home buyer, I'm not sure what all the info means or how to interpret it and I was looking forward to the meeting with the inspector to review it. I also had to set aside the time they requested for the follow up call, so I feel the lack of follow through wasn't considerate. All in all, definitely worth it and a good experience.
